Darriel Sanders is an inquisitive and determined young professional who empowers her peers in the areas of advocacy, professional development, and creative storytelling.
In her three years of experience in the nonprofit and agency sectors, Sanders is building her career at the intersection of purpose/social impact and communications. As a senior account executive within Edelman’s Brand Purpose practice, she helps clients develop purpose strategies rooted in action. Her clients have included TAZO, HP, Advil, and Sensodyne.
Sanders also serves as a Southeast Ambassador on Edelman’s Gen Z Lab, where she counsels clients on developing campaigns that authentically connect with Gen Z. With early experience, including When We All Vote, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, and the Obama Foundation, Sanders has a passion for working with organizations dedicated to uplifting marginalized voices. It is through her volunteer and work experience that she found her love of culture, impact and storytelling; she believes that everyone has a story and should feel empowered to share it.
