There are dozens of ways to assess whether a company will support your goals. But one important green flag for women and other marginalized demographics is an organization’s partnerships. Companies that are forward-thinking might have programs that support their communities, ensure local or underserved small businesses get contracts, or services that help them support their workforce. Those relationships can signal to you, the job seeker, what an employer’s priorities are beyond the bottom line.
InHerSight is one such partnership. Using anonymous company reviews, our platform helps companies assess the state of their workplace—what’s working and what needs work. Then we work directly with those employers to share their journeys, their gender equity goals, and their jobs with our audience of women. This is all in service of our greater mission to improve the workplace for women, but on a 1:1 level, it’s an effort to help you find an employer that’s so excited about hiring women, they’re willing to ask for help (us!) and grow.
For Women’s History Month, we asked a few of our partners to share why they choose to work with InHerSight. Their answers shed light on why partnerships are such a wonderful way to communicate to job seekers and employees what matters most: supporting the happiness and inclusivity of a growing workforce.

At VTS, it is a priority for us to ensure we have an environment that is inclusive and one that supports and uplifts all of our employees, including women and non-binary employees. We continuously work toward our gender representation within the company because we know that diversity on our teams not only leads to better business decisions, but also creates a more enjoyable workplace! Partnerships like InHerSight help us with this effort because they allow us to reach great female talent so that they are aware about new job opportunities at VTS. This ultimately leads to more applications from women, interviews, and eventually - hires! We also want to give our women at VTS a larger voice outside of the company. InHerSight helps us do this through efforts like employee spotlights to highlight the impactful work they do, or by sharing their experiences through dedicated articles so that other women in the industry can learn from them.
